Ancora deve essere corsa l'edizione del 2013, però mi sembra il caso di iniziare a pubblicizzare la novità del nuovo sistema di iscrizione. In pratica non è più "chi prima arriva, meglio alloggia" (per il 2013 i 40.000 posti disponibili sono stati bruciati in 3 ore e mezza), ma si va alla più classica delle lotterie. Per cui, niente più conto alla rovescia, ma pre-iscrizioni aperte dal 30 Settembre al 14 Ottobre:

Registration for the 41st BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2014 will open on September 30, 2013

As last year the 40,000 spots for the BMW BERLIN MARATHON sold out in just three and a half hours, there will be a new registration process for next year’s 41st BMW BERLIN MARATHON.

There will be a pre-registration phase that will be open from September 30 to October 14, in which everyone who wishes to participate can submit his or her data; then on October 30, there will be a random selection of participants from the pool of registrants to receive starting spots for the 41st BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2014.

Those who are selected will then receive notification with a registration code. The binding registration must then be completed between November 4 - 11, 2013. Any spots that are not confirmed during this time period will be offered according to the order in which they were randomly selected. These remaining spots must be confirmed by the binding reservation between November 25 and December 2, 2013.

Pre-registration from September 30 to October 14

Pre-registration opens at noon on Monday, September 30. You have 14 days to register. There is no need to hurry up and register exactly at 12 noon on Monday, September 30, since everybody has the same chances. For the registration you must provide your full name, date of birth, and email address. If you attempt to submit multiple registrations they will be deleted by the system. After registering, every participant will receive an email confirmation.

The 41st BMW BERLIN MARATHON will take place on September 27-28, 2014. New: The organisational fee for everyone—runners, wheelchair competitors and hand cyclists alike—will be 98 Euros.

Io invece stavo proprio iniziando ad allenare l'indice sul mouse... Pazienza, e che lotteria sia! Il problema è che ho un compagno di merende con il quale organizzo tutte le trasferte, le probabilità di venir presi entrambi iniziano ad essere infinitesimali!
Vabbè, inizio a preparare anche il piano B... No, aspettate, coi piani B e C eravamo in ballot ( ) per Londra e per Tokyo, forse è meglio parlare di piano D (o E, F, G...).

Possibilità identiche per tutti i pre-iscritti quindi la nostra velocità serve il giusto ma,vista la bella esperienza appena raccontata dai ragazzi del forum e considerato che,quelle 6,vorrei correrle tutte...fatto.

Comunque mi è già arrivata questa e-mail:

Beginning November 1, we will send an email to everybody who has been drawn informing them of their “raffle-luck”. Included in this email will be a registration link for the 41st BMW BERLIN MARATHON 2014. The binding registration must then be completed between November 4 and November 11, 2013.

Any spot that has not been claimed during this time period will be offered to the next in succession from the initial raffle draw. These remaining spots must then be confirmed by binding registration between November 25 and December 2, 2013. Until then: Keep your fingers crossed!
